From Concept to Impact: Deploying Agentic AI in Chemical R&D

On March 3rd, 2026, we were honored to host Julian Götz from Roche. Julian presented recent work within Roche on agentic AI, especially its role as a research assistant for high-throughput experimentation. He also showed off some tools that significantly enhance productivity of chemists wihin Roche and have been awarded Roche-internal prizes. We were delighted to host a great crowd, that also continued exciting discussions over an informal beer afterwards.
