About us
Our mission & vision
AI4Science Club Zurich is the community in Zurich when you are interested in AI for scientific discovery. Our mission is to bring together people across fields, fostering exchange and learning in a vibrant community.
Our long-term vision is to make Zurich the place to be in Europe if you are interested in AI4Science, by having a vibrant community transforming what is possible.

Our team
Malte is a founding member of the AI4Science club and serves as its president, where he oversees the actions of the board. He is an ELLIS PhD student and works on developing generative AI modeling techniques for molecular design.
Stefan is a founding member of the AI4Science club and serves as its VP and Chief Operating Officer, where he is responsible for organizing events. He is a PhD student at the Department in Digital Chemistry at ETH Zurich, working on experimental design and self-driving labs for catalyst development to develop more sustainable chemical reactions.
Shaun is a founding member of the AI4Science club and serves as its VP and Chief Financial Officer, where he is responsible for managing partnerships with our sponsors. He is a PhD student in organic chemistry, working on data science and high-throughput chemistry for drug discovery.
